The Queensland economy: built on more than just coal and sunshine

Source: Jones Lang LaSalle
"The paper examines the underlying structure of the Queensland economy to determine the contribution the resources boom has made to the state’s overall performance. Secondly, the paper aims to highlight the recent outstanding performance of the state economy and discusses each of the major drivers of this performance in more detail; namely population growth, infrastructure spending and the resources sector. Finally, this analysis is drawn together to present an outlook for the state’s economy and determine whether Queensland still remains an attractive destination for commercial property investment."
