"The announcement of the Federal Government’s 2020 emission reduction target range and release of its Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) White Paper, charts a course for Australia’s efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions over the coming decade. This will be the first major test of the Government’s credibility in addressing climate change since it ratified the Kyoto Protocol in late 2007."
