Review of NSW climage change mitigation measures

Source: NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal
"The NSW Govt is reviewing its climate change initiatives to ensure they mesh with the Rudd govt's planned CPRS. NSW's Independent Pricing & Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) has released a discussion paper and called for public submissions by Feb 13. The paper said the NSW Govt had nominated 12 initiatives to be reviewed, including its GHG reduction scheme, its climate change fund, the Biofuel (Ethanol Content) Act mandating a 2% ethanol content in vehicle fuel sold in NSW and the building sustainability index setting energy and water-consumption standards for new homes or renovations. IPART said it would report to the NSW Govt by May 30."
