"A new report from the International Union for the Conservation of Nature warns that seagrass meadows face a mounting threat from global warming. Seagrasses provide food and shelter for prawn and fish populations. Possible solutions to the threat include mixing genetically more diverse populations, introducing protected areas and linking underwater meadows to nearby mangrove plantations or coral reefs."
