"The UN-ratified expansion of the outer limits of Aust's continental shelf make it imperative to deal with the environmental, social and legal issues associated with seafloor mining, says a CSIRO report. The report said there was a need for more research into the potential impacts of seafloor mining and simpler govt controls."
