"The future climate of the SCCG region is projected to be both warmer and drier. Meanwhile, sea-level rise is projected to increase the risk of inundation and erosion of the SCCG coastline. These climatic changes will have important implications for the SCCG region. Given the diversity of the topographic, demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the SCCG landscape, different areas within the region are likely to be affected in different ways. As a result, local governments are likely to experience unique management challenges that
arise from the local context."
